I’ve been in a rabbit hole this week looking specifically at two policies Charlie very publicly opposed – and “killed” – in Congress in May 2024 and in May 2025. Both are “pro Israel” bills that would criminalize Americans over “hate speech”. There is a strong appetite in Congress – on both sides – to pass these policies. Why? Are we allowed to ask questions?
