Sean O’Donnell brings decades of courtroom leadership, proven experience, and a commitment to justice as he runs for the Washington State Supreme Court. Rated “Exceptionally Well Qualified” by both the King County Bar Association and the Veterans Bar Association, Judge O’Donnell has earned widespread respect across the legal community. For the past 13 years, he has served on the King County Superior Court, where he has taken on key leadership roles as both Chief Family Court Judge and Chief Criminal Judge. His peers also elected him President of Washington’s State Superior Court Judges’ Association—an acknowledgment of his steady leadership and deep understanding of the law. Throughout his judicial career, he has prioritized victims’ rights, strengthened courthouse security, and worked to modernize the court system to better serve the public. Before taking the bench, O’Donnell spent 12 years as a King County Senior Deputy Prosecutor, where he tackled some of the state’s most serious and complex cases.
