WAGOP Completes Official Recommendations of Candidates for the State Supreme Court

• Position 1, Scott Edwards and Laura Christensen Colberg
• Position 3, Judge David Stevens
• Position 5, Judge Dave Larson
• Position 7, Todd Bloom

WAGOP Chairman Walsh points out that there will be one more State Supreme Court spot (Position 4) on the November general election ballot. But only two candidates have filed for that position, so they will not appear on the primary ballot. WAGOP will make its recommendation on that race after the August primary.

The goal of the site is to make it easier for voters to learn about the Washington State Supreme Court, and the candidates running this year. With five of the court’s nine seats on the ballot, this is one of the most important judicial elections we have seen in years. Meet Adam James

Adam James is a lifelong North Central Washington resident, a husband, father of four, pastor, and community leader dedicated to serving the people of his hometown. A graduate of Pateros High School, Wenatchee Valley College, and Northwest University, Adam has spent more than 25 years investing in families, mentoring future leaders, and strengthening his community through faith and service. Alongside his wife, Erin, he helped found Grace City Church in Wenatchee, where they have worked to support families and serve their neighbors.

Now running for State Representative in Washington’s 12th Legislative District, Adam is focused on protecting constitutional freedoms, supporting working families, and restoring opportunity across North Central Washington.
