LINCOLN DINNER HIGHLIGHTS

What a great event! Thank you all for making our annual fundraiser such a success! While it’s a huge win to have raised 73% more than our inaugural event, my favorite moment of the night was when our 5th grader, Junior, led the crowd in the National Anthem and the whole room unified in song. We stood in love of country, a moment on the battlefield to pause and proclaim that no battle is bigger than a unified people focused on a single mission. That was the spirit of the night!

Our very own Lisa Rezac led the night beautifully as Auctioneer and MC, and our Key-note speaker Mike Oster brought a breath of fresh air to the troops! So many hands prepared for this night I couldn’t list them all, but a special shout out to our Director Jamie Lee, Key-coordinator Dee Tole, and the amazing Vice Chair of Pierce, Kristen Brown and her husband Jaremy who came to partner with us in pulling off this feat.

The night was a success in fueling the mission of YOUR local government work for one more year!

We enjoyed the snapshot of a snow covered city as we dessert- dashed, paddle-raised, photo-opped and dined on incredible dishes prepared for us by Newcastle Club Chefs.

With such fun it makes us consider doing this event more than once a year – but no – this administration leaves ALL fuel in the tank in the fall for fully supporting our candidates, so we will all have to wait another year to don those party pants!

As Chair I shared a State of the County report – and King County this is the truth. It’s time to Dream Again.

We have not been impressed with discouraging setbacks, but invigorated by the resolve of those who have stood strong in our defense.

We’ve Fought, we’ve Marched, We’ve Stood. And We’ve Spoken.

The shaking has only strengthened us. Bad policy has only activated us. And The surrounding chaos has only increased our focus.

Our Nation has a new future.

We here at KCGOP are showing up prepared for the moment. We are battle ready, with sound infrastructure, revived culture, filled ranks, and the commitment of a people who agree on the mission of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Together we will lead King County, and together her influence will be a headwater of hope and restoration for the nation.
