Meet Dominique Scarimbolo — Candidate for King County AssessorMeet Dominique Scarimbolo, a lifelong Washington resident who believes in hard work, family, community, and treating people with honesty and respect. Dominique earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Washington State University and previously worked for Alaska Airlines, where they served as a union shop steward and member of IAM Local 2202. Alongside their family, Dominique has also helped build and operate several small business ventures, including Four Horsemen Brewery. These experiences have shaped a strong appreciation for leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, and the challenges that come with building something from the ground up. As a rural, unincorporated King County resident, Dominique has personally experienced how confusing and frustrating the property tax system can be. After filing property tax appeals, reviewing assessment data, and researching mass appraisal practices, Dominique became convinced that King County needs a more transparent, accountable, and uniform assessment system—and that it starts with leadership willing to ask the hard questions. Now, Dominique is running for King County Assessor to bring a fresh perspective and a commitment to fairness and accountability. Outside of work and campaigning, Dominique enjoys spending time with family and friends, supporting local businesses, working in the garden, and taking on projects that involve problem-solving and creating opportunities that benefit others. Dominique believes strong communities are built by people who get involved, listen, and work together to make things better. https://www.domscarimboloforassessor.com/ |
