No Extra Marks
Keep your ballot clean and clear:
• No additional writing or marks
• Don't use Sharpie markers (may be misread by scanning machines)
• Use only the provided pen or a black/blue ballpoint pen

One Vote Per Race
Fill in only one bubble per race or measure. Multiple marks will invalidate your vote for that contest. Take your time and double-check before marking.

Sign Properly
Sign your ballot envelope exactly like your state ID signature. Also provide your contact information so any issues can be reported to you faster for quick resolution.

Safe Dropoff
Take your ballot to an official Dropbox or directly to the County Elections Building.
Do NOT use USPS mail - use official drop locations only

Verify Receipt
After submitting your ballot, check the status again at www.votewa.gov to confirm it was received and accepted by election officials.
