Yesterday before the Supreme Court, we heard arguments in a case that could forever change elections nationwide. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the matter of Watson v. RNC, a challenge to a Mississippi law that allows ballots to be counted for up to five business days following election day. If this is law is allowed to remain, how many other states will soon have laws similar or worse than this? When is the actual cutoff date? What happens when a state permits ballots to be received for an entire month following the election? These are just some of the many arguments that were put before the Court yesterday.
