Today, we focus on the 4th Amendment’s protection against unreasonable searches and seizures. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a huge ruling to come from the Supreme Court last week in the matter of Case v. Montana. Here the Court has ruled that entry into the home, wthout a warrant, is permissible when an officer has a reasonable belief that an emergency exists which requires immediate intervention. Many have decried this ruling as the end of 4th Amemdent protections of the home. But is that really true?
