Here we go again, and like clockwork, DOJ is all in on defending the NFA, even for those items moving to $0.00 taxation next week. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the matter of Brown v. ATF, one of two major challenges to the NFA’s application to the now untaxed items. For the second time now, DOJ has gone all in and filed their own motion for summary judgment asking that the Eastern District of Missouri strike this challenge down. This DOJ has done some pretty good things for gun owners nationwide, but their strange infatuation with all aspects of the NFA remains one of their most troubling habits.
