Washington Gun Law – Is ATF Backing Off the Frame and Receiver Rule?

News broke late last week that the ATF was considering abandoning their rule on Unfinished Frames and Receivers, the very same rule that was challenged, and upheld by the Supreme Court. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a recent fling in the matter of VanDerStok v. Bondi, where DOJ has now asked for additional time, following the remand, from the Supreme Court, to publish a new rule. DOJ also claims that the new rule might preclude some of the current claims being litigated. So is there hope for a new, clear and concise rule?
