We turn back today to another challenge to the NFA, in particular its regulations of suppressors and short barrel rifles. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the matter of Brown v. ATF, filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. This is yet another challenge to the NFA claiming that since certain items are no longer subject to federal taxation, there is no legal basis to keep them under federal registration.
