The House is debating another tax proposal from House Democrats that will disproportionately impact those who can least afford it.
Senate Bill 5814 would increase taxes on Zyn and impose new sales taxes on services that were previously exempt – including computer and IT related services, temporary staffing agencies, security services, digital automated services, and certain advertising. These costs will be passed down to consumers.
