Washington State House Republicans – Protect girls’ sports

Initiative IL26-638 would protect the integrity of girls’ sports by ensuring female student athletes are not forced to compete with biological males.

House Democrats rejected a Republican motion to hold a public hearing for the initiative from the people, despite the state constitution stating initiatives “shall take precedence” over other policy measures.

In response, Republicans held two listening sessions at the Capitol on Tuesday.
