Last week the Washington State Democrats abandoned another proposed tax increase scheme in part because of the popular 6 initiatives which will be on the ballot in November. Democrat Seattle State Senator Jamie “Taxman” Pederson – the prime sponsor and champion of the proposed property tax increase scheme sadly dropped the effort last week and admitted the initiatives were a big part of the reason they abandoned the effort. The rapacious greed of government is impossible to quench, and our government bureaucrats and the political class always believe they can spend your money better than you can.
