When is Arson not Arson? When a Democratic Party member does it, of course. In Washington State, you can break into the State Capitol Building, go on a vandalism spree, set multiple fires, do a bunch of damage to the building, get arrested and still have the local prosecutor and judge pretend that you didn’t commit arson.

Apparently in an effort to continue to create a spectacle that the rest of the nation can only marvel at from afar, Washington State officials reveal their clear and open double standard when it comes to how they apply the law. A pro-tip for all those vandals, arsonists, and abusers out there – if you want a lighter sentence (or no sentence at all), just join the Democratic Party before you commit your crimes.
