We The Governed – Arsonist breaks into WA State Capitol building, vandalizes, sets fire, and is released the next day

What does it take to serve jail time in Washington State? How is Arson not violence? Thurston County judges set Gunnar Schubert free on cashless bail. The guy parks on the flower bed, leaves the doors open and lights on, brings a bottle of lighter fluid and hammers with him. Breaks into a first floor window, wanders around the Capitol building vandalizing and breaking things, starts a few fires – including burning flags in the State Reception Room on the carpet before he is arrested and caught by the Washington State Patrol. This apparently isn’t considered serious in Washington State. Unless he wears a MAGA hat next time he tries it…

***correction to my video*** – I mentioned “Miami Dolphins” when I meant the “Miami Marlins” plus I also slipped and said “Miami Martins” one time. On top of this I said “no bail” rather than “cashless bail” which should have been the more accurate way to explain this weirdness. Finally, while I always referred to Thomas Jefferson High School as the trailerpark school of Federal Way – things have changed over the years, and the school was rebuilt, and the trailer parks have been mostly replaced with apartments – not sure that is better, however as this high school has always been the forgotten school in the Federal Way school district.
