We The Governed – Is Bob Ferguson trying to hide a $1 Billion Liability from us? WA State’s budget has a lot of holes

Despite signing the largest tax increase in Washington State history, WA State’s budget is looking worse with every forecast. Governor Ferguson wants to distract people by blaming Trump, but when you look closer, you will find many other landmines in our State budget and government that are not commonly known, and in many cases it appears the Governor may be directing staff to keep it on the down low. This example in the SILA fund is just one example.

While Ferguson is suffering from TDS and he can only talk about Trump, the closer we look at the rest of state government, the worse it looks. There are many places we can cut the state budget and save money and limited resources, but those are not the conversations our political class or bureaucrats want us to have.

Remember, government hates it when you start looking at how they operate, and they really don’t want you to know how they squander your tax dollars. Government will never reform itself.
