Over the years, I’ve caught and exposed hundreds of politicians, PACs, and others breaking Washington State’s campaign finance and ethics laws. Unfortunately, these violations are so common, they almost become boring and repetitive to report, but every now and then, it is worth referencing a few cases like the three I mention here. The Okanogan County Democrats always break the law, so nothing new there. The Arlington Schools PAC crew love higher taxes but don’t follow the law very well, and this Mercer Island City Council candidate was a good example of local citizens paying attention to a politician trying to conceal their financial associations and potential conflicts…

Remember, government hates it when you start looking at how they operate, and they really don’t want you to know how they squander your tax dollars. Government will never reform itself.
