Last week, Seattle’s Mayor Bruce Harrell in a debate admitted that 70% of the “homeless” are not from the Seattle area. Why did so many drug addicts, people with mental health problems, and others who are “homeless” decide to move to Seattle? The answer is easy to understand, unless you are a Leftie politician in Seattle land.
Unlimited free stuff will attract people to come to Seattle. Free food, clothing, tarps, pallets, tents, needles, wi-fi, and other stuff will convince drug addicts and others living “homeless” to come to Seattle from wherever they are from. Why not? Life is easier when you don’t need to spend money on these things and can save those costs for what gets you high instead.
Of course, the soft on crime policies help too. Cartels have free reign, criminals get cashless bail, few consequences (if any), so this helps create the environment where “Homelessness” thrives and grows. Only the politicians pretend not to understand how this could happen…
