Washington State Governor Bob Ferguson admits he violated Washington State’s Ethics Laws (again), agreed to pay a nominal fine of $4k, says it was no big deal, and hopes it will go away. Compared to the many other legal violations and ethical challenges he has had in office, this probably isn’t a big deal, but it is worth discussing.
Remember, government hates it when you start looking at how they operate, and they really don’t want you to know how they squander your tax dollars. Government will never reform itself.
