I refer to Grant Grifting when I’m discussing the nature of government grants to “Non-Profits” which can’t be tracked, vetted, or verified, and usually becomes wasted tax dollars, rarely solving the problem they promise to solve, and often stolen or funneled back to the politicians as campaign contributions. Nobody audits or looks, and the political class loves it this way.
Remember, government hates it when you start looking at how they operate, and they really don’t want you to know how they squander your tax dollars. Government will never reform itself.
