Internships offer practical experience in a multitude of fields that translate easily to future careers.

We are looking for motivated individuals to support our party in a variety of ways including creating engaging content, supporting project initiatives, candidate resourcing, or conducting research. This unpaid internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop professional skills, gain real-world experience, and build a network that can translate into a multitude of career paths. The internship is designed for students, recent graduates, or career changers eager to learn and contribute to making a meaningful difference in the communities of King County.

Research

Gather and analyze data for election integrity, compile reports, and present findings to the party. Opportunities are available for DOGE training. Collect relevant information and collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Data Analysis

Participate in team meetings and provide input on ongoing projects

Outreach

Expand our community engagement and build meaningful connections. You’ll assist in crafting and distributing outreach materials to promote our mission. Your responsibilities will include researching potential partners, supporting event planning, and engaging with voters. This hands-on experience will sharpen your communication and networking skills while giving you insight into effective outreach strategies

Networking

Build and nurture professional relationships to support our mission. You’ll assist in identifying and connecting with key community members and groups through targeted outreach, including emails, social media engagement, and virtual or in-person events. Your role will involve attending meetings and events with mentors, honing your interpersonal skills and providing valuable insights while cultivating impactful connections.

Social Media

Assist with developing and executing social media strategies, creating content, and engaging with followers. Help to grow our social media presence across multiple platforms.

Marketing

Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including advertising, public relations, and event promotion

Time Commitment

10 – 15 hours per week for 4 months

Remote/in-person hybrid opportunities

In our work experience program, interns perform tasks for our party without receiving a salary or wages. While not compensated financially, these internships offer valuable learning and networking opportunities, as well as potential future job prospects. Internships are an opportunity to build a professional portfolio and gain references for future job application as well as connect with professionals who are passionate about the future of our country.

This unpaid internship is an opportunity to work directly with the King County Chair offering a valuable entrance to local government involvement.
